Resilience: A Film Series

This cinematographic series explores resilience through diverse cultural perspectives and personal stories. Featuring films and documentaries in Spanish, Italian, English, French, and Portuguese, the series examines how individuals and communities overcome challenges, adapt to change, and maintain their cultural identity.

The documentaries showcase different approaches to resilience from communities around the world and at home. The series aims to foster cross-cultural understanding while highlighting the universal human capacity for perseverance and growth.

TRE PIANI Film by Nanni Moretti

 

Based on the novel by Eshkol Nevo, Three Floors is Nanni Moretti’s first literary adaptation. Set against the backdrop of Rome’s Prati neighborhood, the film brings to life the emotional journeys of everyday people navigating times of change. Covering a decade in the lives of its characters, Three Floors reveals the struggles, mistakes, and hopes that shape their intertwined stories.

 

The film premiered at the 74th Cannes Film Festival (World Premiere) and is the winner of the Golden Linden Award.
