CHEM.5430 Modern Inorganic Chemistry (Formerly 84.543)

Description

A theoretical treatment of atomic structure and chemical bonds, included are such topics as Russell Saunders' coupling, molecular orbital theory, ligand field theory, and descriptive coordination chemistry.

Course prerequisites/corequisites are determined by the faculty and approved by the curriculum committees. Students are required to fulfill these requirements prior to enrollment.
