Description
This course introduces a variety of concepts in manufacturing automation with the goal of designing and implementing an automated manufacturing system. Technologies covered include: automated flow lines, automated assembly systems, NC and CNC, industrial robot technologies and applications, group technology, computer aided process planning, flexible manufacturing systems, material handling and storage systems, and computer integrated manufacturing (CAD/CAM and CIM).
