Description
This course provides advanced study in clinical nutrition. The focus of the course content will be the assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation of acute and complex diseases and conditions as they relate to nutrition treatment. Students will gain a strong foundation in nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition). Examples of patient populations covered include critical care, dialysis, dysphagic and medical/surgical patients.
