Biosketch
As the Senior Director of Network & Communication Services, Steve provides leadership, strategic planning, and oversight for the University鈥檚 Network and Voice Services teams. These groups are responsible for the University鈥檚 wired/wireless data network, voice communications systems, and collaboration tools.
Steve has over 35 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology including organizational leadership, business analysis, network and systems administration, project and program management, operational strategy, and software development. Prior to 杏吧传媒, Steve was the Technology Director in several K-12 schools, and held multiple hands-on and management roles in the private sector including at Avid Technology and Nortel Networks.
While at Avid, Steve received a Technical Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for his contributions to their award-winning video editing system.
