Key Findings

  • Bernie Sanders leads his closest competitor, former New York Mayor and billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who has bombarded the Tar Heel State with nearly half a billion dollars in advertising, 23% to 19%.
  • Close behind, but outside the poll’s margin of error is former Vice President Joe Biden at 16%, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 13%, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 10%, and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar at 7%.
  • Sanders now leads among Black voters, taking 30% of the vote, compared to Biden and Bloomberg who are both at 19%. Â
