Groundwater-Surface Water Interactions, Numerical Modeling, Hydrological Modeling

Research Interests

My research interests are in groundwater–surface water interactions, sediment transport, and flood hazards. As a postdoctoral researcher, I investigate the exchange of water and solutes between surface water and groundwater in the Delaware Bay and Chesapeake Bay estuaries, with particular attention to the influence of tidal cycles. I use computational fluid dynamics and groundwater models to simulate these complex processes and integrate insights from laboratory experiments to enhance the accuracy and applicability of numerical predictions.
