College Writing I, College Writing II and College Writing Studio

The program for ENGL.1010 College Writing I, ENGL.1010S College Writing Studio, and ENGL.1020 College Writing II runs from December 29 through January 16, with virtual classes on Zoom every weekday from 2–4 p.m. During each session, students will have time to write, receive feedback, and stay on track toward finishing their course. This focused, helpful program is led by Professor Bernadette Stockwell, an experienced writing instructor who has guided students through this make-up session for many years. To qualify for the program, you must have completed 75% of the course work and be nominated by your professor. At the end of the program, students submit their completed work to Professor Stockwell, who will forward it to their original instructor for final grading.



Precalculus Mathematics I

The program for MATH.1225 Precalculus I runs from December 29, 2025 through January 14, 2026. The Precalculus I review session is targeted for students who earned a C-, C, or C+ in Precalculus I during the Fall, 2025 semester. This session is also for students who earned an A- or A in Fundamentals of Algebra. This class will be taught by Professor Caelan Dowe. Classes and tutoring will be held virtually through zoom, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (MWF) 4–6 p.m. The final exam is scheduled in-person on campus at 4 p.m. on January 14. You may take the final exam only if you have attended 6 of the 7 held review sessions and completed all the Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces (ALEKS) assignments. If you score 80% or higher on the re-take final exam, you will be allowed to take MATH.1230 Precalculus II in Spring 2026.

Precalculus Mathematics II

The program for MATH.1230 Precalculus II runs from December 29, 2025 through January 14, 2026. The Precalculus II review session is for students who earned an “A- or “A” in Precalculus I during the Fall 2025 semester and can show evidence of having previously taken a course with trigonometry.  This will be taught by Professor Matthew Beyranevand. Classes and tutoring will be held virtually through zoom, Monday, Wednesday and Friday (MWF) 10 a.m. – Noon. The final exam is scheduled in-person on January 14 at 10 a.m. on North Campus. You may take the final exam only if you have attended 6 of the 7 online sessions and completed all the ALEKS assignments. If you score an 80% or higher on the final exam, you will be allowed to continue in MATH.1310 Calculus I in Spring 2026.
