Massachusetts Residents Mass

First-time, first-year, in-state undergraduate applicants are eligible to be considered for the scholarships listed in this section.

Chancellor's Scholarship

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is proud to award the Chancellor's Scholarship, to a select number of our most academically qualified admitted freshmen who are permanent residents of Massachusetts.

  • Awards: Annual award of full tuition and mandatory fees.
  • Application not required. Admissions application must be received by the Early Action Deadline to be considered for this scholarship. Students are notified via their admissions acceptance packet.
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.

Tsongas Scholarship

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is proud to award the Tsongas Scholarship to two highly qualified admitted freshmen who are Massachusetts residents and graduates of Lowell High School.

  • Awards: Two annual awards of full tuition, fees, and standard housing / food, selected by Lowell High School and the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ committee.
  • Requirements:
    • Open to Massachusetts residents and Lowell High School graduates
    • Application solicited by the Headmaster of Lowell High School
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.

Dean's Scholarship Program

This scholarship is limited to a select number of our admitted freshmen to attract and reward those with high academic achievements.

  • Awards: Annual award up to half of tuition and mandatory fees.
  • Application not required. Admissions application must be received by the Early Action Deadline to be considered for this scholarship. Students are notified via their admissions acceptance packet.
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of 8 consecutive semesters.

Non-Massachusetts ResidentsNon-Mass

First-time, first-year domestic, out-of-state, international and New England Regional residency undergraduate applicants are eligible to be considered for the scholarships listed in this section.

Out-of-State, National and International Scholarships

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ offers a variety of scholarships to our first-time, first-year, undergraduate out-of-state and international applicants of exceptional merit.

  • Awards: Scholarship amounts range from $8,000 to $20,000
  • The type and amounts of the award depend on a comprehensive evaluation of each year's applicant pool.
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.

New England Regional Scholarships

In addition to the tuition discount program, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ offers a variety of scholarships to our first-time, first-year, New England Regional eligible applicants of exceptional merit.

  • Awards: Annual awards up to half of New England Regional tuition rate.
  • The type and amounts of the award depend on a comprehensive evaluation of each year's applicant pool.
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.

Mid-Atlantic Regional Awards

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ offers a scholarship to our first-time, first-year, students from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

  • Awards: Annual awards ranging from $5,000 to $13,000.
  • Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Scholarship

Scholarship requires a nomination from a teacher, principal, etc. Nominations are due by the following dates:

  • Early Action I: November 5
  • Early Action II: January 5
  • Regular Decision: February 5

Additionally, the students must:

  • have completed at least one PLTW course (strong preference will be given to students who have completed three PLTW courses)
  • be nominated by a high school Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) teacher, guidance counselor or principal (one nomination per school, please.)
  • have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.000
  • apply for admission to a STEM program at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ by the application deadline: Early Action- November 1, Regular Decision: February 1

The scholarship has a maximum award value of $5,000 for Massachusetts residents and $10,000 for out-of-state residents. It is renewable for four years of undergraduate study, provided a minimum GPA of 3.000 is maintained.

Please Note: The scholarships listed on this page are not available to students enrolled in Graduate, Online and Professional Studies programs and do not apply to its courses.
